WHATS YOUR VALVE CLEARANCE?

hehehe im currently on 8/10

the question is ano ba stock clearance? ano ba mas maganda pag naka cams?

mas maluwag or mas masikip?

currently im veri satisfied sa takbo ng motor ko

my only problem is pag full stop ka then baon mo gasulina delay 1 sec bago bumunot

im a A/C user

if i'm not mistaken stock is 10 / 15.

sabi ng mechanic ko dati, nung sinubukan namin yung 10/15

"teka lalayo muna ako bago mo paandarin, baka talsikan ako " hahaha
pag malaki daw may tendency daw tumukod o tumama yung balbula.

saka pag malaki pansin ko subrang ingay ng tik tik tik nya

10 in 15 out commonly used

pero pag nka cams ka medyo my tiktik sound pero ok naman..

advisable na siguro 10 in 15 out (very tight feeling) Rcams1 use parang stock pa rin tunog^^
as i experience^^

AFAIK!
the bigger the valve clearance,
the lesser chance to hit a piston..

di rin pwede masyado dikit kasi
may chance na mag loose comp
kasi na-expand ang bakal habang
uminit..

pero di pa rin pwede ang sobra
laki na valve clearance kasi sungaw
yan..talagang dapat may certain
valve clearance para sa magandang
performace..

yung tikitik na naririnig nyo walang
kaso yan kasi naka roller type po ang
rocker arm ng t135 natin di po tulad ng
ibang ubone..so it means na di po yan
basta basta nasisira..

yan po ay aking konting kaalaman..
kung may mali,paki correct na lang..

stock..IMHO

PERO ANG NAKALAGAY DUN SA PIC. EH U CAN ADJUST THE INTAKE VALVE 10 UP TO 14MM AND U CAN ADJUST THE EXHAUST VALVE FROM 16 UP TO 20MM....... SO ANO TALAGA ANG STOCK NA VALVE CLEARANCE.....

10MM INTAKE AND 16MM EXHAUST????????????

IMHO, if you are still using the stock valves then you could use the specified stock clearance which is 0.10-0.14 mm for intake and 0.16-0.20 mm for exhaust.

most of the expansion would be on the valves because of their length. negligible na lang yung expansion sa camshaft kung meron man.

it is very difficult to adjust the valve clearance exactly even if you use a feeler gauge so there`s a tolerance of 0.4 mm
