Petrol-Saving Tips for Motorcycle Scooter Riders

You know by now that motorcycle scooters get high mileage and now you want to increase that mileage? Well read on for the best ideas for improving your scooter’s fuel economy. No more blowing money at the pump!
1) Go easy on your acceleration, Lightning McQueen!
Similar to a car, how you operate your scooter will have a tremendous impact on how many miles you can squeeze out of your scooter per gallon. Out of all of the fuel-saving ideas, the use of your throttle has the most significant effect on your overall fuel consumption. The key is to accelerate slowly, instead of trying to chirp the tires from a standstill.
2) Make sure your tires are properly inflated
If you are riding on under or overinflated tires, you are not only wasting fuel, but you’re putting yourself at risk. Check your tires’ PSI (pounds per square inch), and adjust them accordingly. Remember that your tire pressure will build in the hotter months and go down in cooler months.
3) Keep your ride in tune
Most owners think of a motors scooter as a set it and forget it thing. They buy it, ride it, and rarely think of performing maintenance on it. But just like a car, your scooter needs some TLC to run optimally and continue getting great mileage. Keep your scooter in good operating condition, and you’ll be rewarded with scooter longevity and superior gas mileage.
4) Change your oil frequently
You change your oil in your car every 3,000 to 6,000 miles, I’d bet. But it can take some serious riding for your scooter to see that kind of use, especially if you use yours primarily for local riding. Regardless of mileage, you should try to change your oil before every riding season.
For example, if your riding season is in the summer months, from May through September, but you usually only put 500 miles on your motors scooter over those months, you should still change your oil every May.
So how many miles per gallon can you expect to squeeze out of your scooter with these tips? The answer varies wildly depending on the type and size of your motors scooter, but you are looking at significant savings.
Keep in mind that some smaller scooters only have a useful life of 25,000 or so miles, and these ideas can also make a difference in the longevity of your scooter.

1. Displacements will be based on the manufacturers declaration for that specific model.

2. Participants without the consent of spouse, parents of guardian can send another form or letter with the signature of the person concerned.

3. Accepted participants who cant attend the pri and event can give their slot to another participant provided they belong to the same class. If it means a change of class, it depends if there is still an open slot after taking in all riders in the waiting list.

4.pri time for the mc and sc on feb 25 and march 1 will be as follows;

class 1 8am

class 2 8.30am

class 3 9am

class 4 9.30am

class 5 10am

class 6 10.30am

class 7 11am
