MIO Setup

sir chiglai, maybe you can help my friend, he has vixion, changed valve springs, rextor cdi, rejets. he cant even outrun my AC stock engine except for rextor cdi and nob1 pipe

maybe theres something missing with his engine set-up.

i guess, but if it were up to me to change a part or parts of your bike i'd change to a more free flowing pipe...

but that's just me...

anyway here's my set up;
58.5 cmr steel bore
lhk stage1 cams
mtrt clutch and bell housing
stock pulley
ncy fly wheel
14/42 gearing
ncy pipe
namban ignition coil
iridium ngk spark plug
oh btw parts not mentioned are still in stock form....

tested faster than a not so stock r150....

stroker pin 2mm (precision)
big valave head (precision)
precision made cams
uma carb 26mm
locally fabricated pipe (4n)

transmission specs;
r-pulley (mtrt)
r-clutch (mtrt)
r-clutch bell (mtrt)
r-torque drive (mtrt)

full fairing, all electricals
working, and on 14 inch rims..

I have been getting some really nice bore up stuffs from Haen, he has got some tricks up his sleeve....believe it! PM him about the special engine he can build, it is 267cc. I am sure this will be able to give a Raider a really good go. Also ask about Dr.Pulley....hehehehe!

nothing is missing... i do think something is really wrong with his set up...

I am just wondering what parts you are using as your bore up stuff. I have been using Kawahara and LHK. These parts have been great and I have no complaints. The head I have been getting have been all reseated with alu-bronze, and the valve sizes are 23mm exhaust and 27mm intake.
Most of the time I am using stage 2 cam as well. For clutches it is always a mix of different parts Kawahara,CLD,Kitaco,Dr.Pulley and stock parts. The results are always awesome once all is tuned. Really I think if you want your Mio be really fast it is best to use a good selection of brands and pick the best out of them. I have been getting my parts from Haen, and have only positive things to say and positive results.
