guys can i ask for help with my MC...i search in youtube how to change my coolant, i also already know how to do it..but one thing im confused, what to do on reservoir? the one below the belly pan.as of now i haven't changed the coolant yet, the coolant level in the reservoir is below "low" point, now the question is do i need to get rid of that coolant in the reservoir? and another question also, if i'm going to get rid all of the old coolant in the radiator and reservoir, do i need to pour new coolant in the reservoir? or radiator only?

if you really want to change your coolant, you can do that both on the radiator and reservoir, and you can also just add if you want to...at the radiator side just open the radiator cap then remove the nut (facing the radiator) on the cylinder wall to drain the old coolant then replenish it with a new coolant. Same goes with the reservoir just observe the suggested level of coolant....hope this helps....tnx

    Good day, sir chrysler.

2 years ago i posted on this forum about coolant leak,& now im in neck-deep water na.. may i know if there are other shops that sell the water pump parts, or even the entire water pump itself? im kinda looking for alternatives to repair the necessary components only, but my x1r is almost 7 years old, & im also looking to replace the entire water pump assembly. yamaha yzone in ortigas quoted me at 4,122 pesos (most probably part-per-part total price)for the water pump assembly last 2014, & i cant go back there due to work. if you can provide some assistance, it would be most welcome.

    Thanks & Ride Safe!

    Good day, sir Christian!

In line with the queries on this forum, do you know where I can buy the other parts for the water pump, aside from yamaha 3s shops? i need to replace parts of the pump, but i also might need to replace the entire pump itself.

    Thanks & Ride Safe!

On Facebook For sale section there is selling water pump assy. 2nd hand
but if you want brand new parts and not Going to Yamaha 3s due to your Busy Schedule I can Recommend you a seller that Trusted on selling OEM Part he is @Jon Hernandez ,
but for me it doesn't need to replace all your water pump assy. the parts that was really need to replace was Water pump oil seal, Impeller shaft and Impeller Shaft Bearing.
